Plenty Permaculture offers the internationally recognised, 72 hour permaculture curriculum over 12 Saturdays. We’ve chosen a year long modular rather than the two-week intensive format to accommodate busy schedules, to spread the cost of the program over a 12 month period, and allow participants more time to both take in the material and to create their design projects.
Each module will include at least one presentation, one skill session and a field trip to a BOP permaculture property. Attending these modules, combined with the presentation of an individual design project, qualifies participants to obtain their Internationally recognised Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC).
The course is for everyone interested in living a more intentionally designed lifestyle including new property owners whether in the country or city, renters who want to be empowered now or might one day own, life stylers, gardeners, landscapers, teachers and community leaders.
Permaculture Design Certificate courses (PDC) vary by country and by region. This is because permaculture is a general theory that is designed to be adapted to local environments. However, all PDC courses should include 72 hours of direct instruction curriculum based on the foundational work, “Permaculture – A Designers’ Manual” by Bill Mollison, and include a student design project as part of the coursework.
