Trish Waugh, former Landscape Designer and now Permaculture Designer, is offering this day long course on:

– Site survey techniques, including triangulation & running measurements, using tape measures

– Scale drawing, choosing the best scale to work with, how to change from one scale to another

– Hand-drawing techniques, using T-square, adjustable set square and freehand

– How to create 3-D effects on your plans

– Rendering, colouring techniques, to make your plans easier to read and more beautiful

– Sketching and isometric drawing

You will need to bring:

3 sheets of A2 tracing paper
T-square and adjustable set square or A2 sheet of metric graph paper to use beneath your tracing paper.
2 Pencils, one HB or B and one 2H
Scale ruler, with 1:50, 1:100 & 1:200 scales
Rubber, pencil sharpener, compass (several will be provided)
Variety of black felt pens ranging from very fine (0.1 – 0.3) to medium (0.5- 0.7) to thick (1.0 – 2.0)

When: 22 September, 2018, 9:30 – 3:30

Where: Plenty Permaculture Cottage, 375 Whakamarama Road, Tauranga

Maximum number: 12 to assure quality attention to each participant

Bring: Besides the tools above, bring your lunch and nibbles and wear comfortable clothes. We will be outside for part of the morning and then inside for the rest of the day. Morning tea will be provided.
