Practical Fruit Tree Pruning – Peaches

Learn how to prune fruit trees for abundant crops on healthy, long-living trees in this practical workshop. 

Summer is the best time to prune peaches and nectarines. This workshop will start with an interactive white board introduction. This will be followed by a demonstration and then it’s your turn to start pruning real trees with Gisella’s guidance. You’ll then be able to go home and confidently get started on your own peach and plum trees. 

Your tutor is Gisella Warmenhoven, a trained landscaper and professional tree pruner for over 30 years.

What to bring: sharpened secateurs, loppers, a saw and stepladder if you have them. Gloves, writing materials, snacks and drinking water. Dress for all weathers.

Cost: $60 per person.  The maximum number is 12 to assure quality tutor attention.  In case of wet weather, Gisella will contact you ahead of time and reschedule for Sunday, 31 March.
