What is That Bug?

March 16, 2018 @ 11:30 am - 12:00 pm

Free

If you’ve ever wanted to get to know more about the bugs and insects sharing your garden with you, come to this 45 minutes mini workshop.  You’ll be guided through an identification activity, use nifty USB microscopes ( you might want to get one of these inexpensive scopes for yourself) and learn about common BOP garden bugs.

If you like, bring some from your garden to find out what they are.

Your tutor will be Kazel Cass.

If you’d like to come up at 9;30 you can attend Kazel’s workshop: Simple Soil Test starting at 9:30.

And to make a full day of it, bring your lunch and stay for the 1:30-3:30 on How to Design a Successful Forest Garden for our BOP conditions, led by permaculture tutor Catherine Dunton-McLeod.

Kazel will be offering a more in-depth two day workshop, “Bugs – Pests and Beneficials”, starting 1 December 2018. Details coming soon.
