What We Do
Gardening Essentials Online Learning
In this covid environment, we have discontinued face to face classes and are offering our entire course online, supported by live Zoom Q and A sessions with our Horticulture teacher and permaculturalist Kazel Law. Kazel leads all 17 sessions, each one on an essential topic and skill of gardening. Topics include soils, propagation, seed saving, pruning, companion planting, weed and crop management and lots more. You can learn everything you need to know to successfully grow veggies, shrub and tree crops, and create an income if you desire.

Who we are
Catherine and Neville Dunton-McLeod founded Plenty Permaculture in 2014. We love sponsoring permaculture and horticulture education. As the the Bay of Plenty is our chosen home, we are keen to spread practical know-how with the people who live here, adding to the resilience and permanent abundance of this beautiful place.

What is Permaculture?
Permaculture was developed in the 1970s by Australians Bill Mollison and David Holmgren in response to the overpopulation and environmental destruction happening around them. In the 50 years since, it has developed into a powerful design process which can lead to abundant, economical, low maintenance and nature-friendly properties. Permaculture allows us to design resilient environments to any scale – apartments, backyards, lifestyle blocks, farms, businesses, communities and countries.
Why Permaculture?
