Foraging for Edible Weeds

This is an interactive workshop, where you’ll learn all about what common, Bay of Plenty “weeds” tell us about the land, their purpose, their nutritional and medicinal uses. 

We’ll be on the beautiful property of Plenty Permaculture which is a place of abundance, with a thriving vegetable business, as well as fruit trees and lots of weeds for us to discover. We’ll go on a foraging walk, where you’ll be encouraged to have a sensory experience of the useful weeds we find.    Then we’ll turn these edible weeds into delicious green, super food smoothies which you can sample, along with some weed pesto, as I share historical and cultural stories of the plants we found.

The investment is $70 which includes my 74 page ebook with excellent photos, descriptions and recipes to help you start foraging for edible and useful weeds at your place.  We’ll have tea, coffee on hand.
